Hey Mon! Got To Go To Work!!!!

Another day at the hive, another 50 cents, before taxes…

Suckas drive quite a bit, allowing for a great deal of reflection.  Driving around these past few months, while engaged in deep conversation, we’ve noticed an interesting  little fact:

We have worked in just about every type of job imaginable!

…or at least it seems. Perhaps, Chew is a long-lost, far distant relative of the Hedley’s???

Peeps cool enough to remember In Living Color, or those that had to work to pay for school can definitely relate to some of this.

We have masqueraded in a great variety of (non)vocations from the job spectrum.  Although some of these “callings” have slipped away from our conciousness, here’s a quick rundown of titles we once brandished.  In no particular order, so far we’ve been:

  • A Custodial Engineer (St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church)
  • A Shoe Salesman (Athlete’s World)
  • A Burger Wrangler (McDonald’s)
  • A Literature Distributor (Indigo Books)
  • A Do-It-AllGopher and Hazardous Waste Crusher (Lily Cups)
  • A Helper of the Elderly (Meals On Wheels)
  • A Foolish Chevron Wearing Vendor (AMC Theatres)
  • A Teacher to Our Childrens (St. Catherine’s Catholic School)
  • A Starving Artist (Life)
  • An Underutilized IT Asset (MyTravel Canada)
  • A Do-It-All Gopher with his own design desk (Terrelonge Studio)
  • A Barista to Both the Stars and Unwashed (Timothy’s World Coffees)
  • An Expert Troublemaker (Youth)
  • A Debt Collecting, Dream Crusher (WSIB)
  • A God to Those That Worship on the 1st and 15th (The Beer Store)
  • A Parental Unit (Life) *most important of the whole lot
  • A Forceful Pitchman of Unwanted Music and Memberships (BMG)
  • A Soggy Produce Organizer (Tony’s Food Basics)
  • A Writer and Poet (Life)
  • A Daydreaming Media Tool (Decode Entertainment)
  • A Worker Bee Member of the Hive Collective (??????????????) 🙂

Whew!  There are 3-4 others that have since been conveniently forgotten, and thus, shall remain omitted from this list.

It’s crazy looking back in time at our past and seeing where we’ve been.  All of these places played a small part, some smaller than others, in getting us to where we are today.

We met many a cool persons along each sojourn, and a few nefarious suckas that to this day could probably use a visit from the Cold Pimp Hand of Reality™.

Until then, we leave you with this gem of a classic vid from In Living Color.  Enjoy!!!
